Interview frameworks, tips, and checklists to help you prepare.

The STAR method is the gold standard for answering behavioral interview questions. It gives your answer a clear structure that interviewers love.

S — Situation
Set the scene. Describe the context — where you were, when it was, what was happening.
T — Task
Explain your specific responsibility or challenge. What needed to be accomplished?
A — Action
Describe the specific steps YOU took. This is the meat of your answer — be detailed and use "I" not "we."
R — Result
Share the outcome. Quantify when possible (saved $X, improved Y by Z%). Include what you learned.

Pro tip: Keep your Situation and Task brief (20% of your answer). Spend most time on Action (50%) and Result (30%).
